Camp Policies

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE POLICIES TO GUARANTEE THE SAFETY AND ENJOYMENT OF EVERYONE IN THE PARK AND TO ENSURE YOUR STAY WITH US IS AS COMFORTABLE AS POSSIBLE. CAMPING COURTESY IS IN EFFECT AT ALL TIMES.
1. Check in – 2pm Campsite check out – 12 noon Cabin & rental camper check out – 11am
2. The speed limit is 5mph and strictly enforced to protect all guests, especially children.
3. Quiet hours are 10pm-8am. Music off & voices down. Be courteous to your neighbors. Sound travels easily
here. We are known for being a quiet & comfortable campground. All kids must return to their sites by 10pm.
4. Your site’s water hookup has a backflow preventer on it. Please do not take it home with you. Your credit card
on file will be charged $10 if it is missing upon check out.
5. No refunds will be given for delayed arrivals or early departures. No exceptions.
6. Early check ins & late checkouts are subject to additional fees and must be pre-approved by staff.
7. You will be provided a garbage & mixed recycle bag at check in. Please separate & throw away into the correct
dumpsters behind the check in building. Do not dispose of electronics into dumpsters. Do not put garbage bags
at the end of your site for pick up.
8. No sites have sewer hookups. We offer a pumpout service Mondays & Thursdays for $20. Sign up in the office
before 10am. Emergency pump outs on any day are available for $30. A $10 charge will apply if using our dump
station at check in.
9. Please turn off any bright outdoor lights on your camper and in your site by 10pm.
10. All visitors and vehicles must register in the office before entering the campground.
11. Firewood is available for purchase in the office or can be delivered to your site until 9pm. It is $6.50/bundle or 4 for $22. Ice is also available in the office – 7# for $4 or 20# for $6.
12. The game room is open 9:30am-9pm. Other sport balls/equipment can be found in the storage box next to the fish cleaning station.
13. If using the fish cleaning station, put your fish guts in a bag in the freezer right next to it.
14. Community bonfires are held on Fridays and/or Saturday nights, weather dependent.
15. Use roads and walkways to move around the park. Please do not walk through occupied campsites.
16. Campfires are allowed only in the supplied fire rings. Do not move our fire rings. Rings do not come with
cooking grates, unless you’ve reserved a cabin.
17. Help us maintain our bathhouse, laundry facility, and campground. Let us know ASAP if there is an issue needing our attention. Laundry is coin operated. Detergent & quarters are available in the camp store.
18. Absolutely no fireworks – this is a town ordinance. Firearms, illegal activities, and ATVs are also prohibited.
19. No cutting, nailing, defacing, or breaking of tree branches.
20. Pets are welcome but need to be leashed at all times & picked up after. They are not to be left in the park
unattended. Excessive barking will not be tolerated. There are doggy doo stations throughout the campground
to dispose of waste.
21. Only 1-2 vehicles allowed per campsite pending sufficient room. Other vehicles may park behind the check in
building. Do not park or drive on the grass.
22. No smoking in the bathhouse, laundry room, office, rental camper, or cabins.
23. We sell mini propane tanks in the camp office. Large propane tanks can be exchanged at the BP gas station in
Fish Creek or they can be exchanged or refilled at Nelson’s Hardware in Fish Creek.
24. Per the Wisconsin DNR, buy your firewood where you will use it. Please do not bring in firewood from outside
of Door County in order to help protect our trees from Emerald Ash Borer and other insects/diseases.
25. Leave your campsite as clean as it was when you arrived.
